Organizing Committee

Dear Colleagues,

The International Huaxia Congresses of Endocrinology (IHCE) have been organized since 1999 to promote academic and clinical advancements in Endocrinology. With support from colleagues worldwide, this tradition has picked up momentum and is thriving healthily. I am very glad to announce that Hong Kong is going to host the Fourth Congress (HX2006) on December 15-18, 2006.

Against the upsurging prevalence of diabetes and other life-style and aging related endocrine and metabolic disorders in Asian countries, emerging evidences also reveal variations in clinical characteristics between different ethnic populations. Through gravitating predominantly ethnic Chinese Endocrinologists together, we aim at creating a platform for quality exchanges in pursuit of better understandings and practical solutions to combat these problems. On behalf of the organizing committee, I welcome you all to join us in Hong Kong to achieve such goals.
